I'm not sure why it all ended up in the pluperfect O_o I probably need to fix it but by the time I realised it was annoying me I'd used half an hour and was still trying to race the clock.

I read an article about biological chimaeras a while ago and I went and refreshed myself after I wrote this so I know what I'm about now. They're interesting things. Nobody knows how many human chimaeras there are because the only way to check is a full DNA test. The biological definition seems to involve two embryos merging at a very early stage to produce a patchwork creature.

Nix is indeed curious. Whenever I do the next bit you'll get his full name which should be a clue.

I couldn't resist when I spotted a ready-made Nimbus. Vain featherhead. The Tiger one was just because I used her face to test the pre-made ones first.
